Coronation Street is turning into The Godfather recently, it seems, and tonight's (December 27) episode saw Ken Barlow transform into the don of the cobbles.
If you've been paying attention then you'll know that Billy Mayhew is currently hospitalised following an attempt by Peter to scare the vicar after the revelation that he accidentally killed Susan Barlow came to light.
Ken has been instructing his family to keep quiet about these events, but obviously there's one other person who could spill the beans: Billy himself.
So Ken did what any old patriarch would do and went to see Billy in hospital, where he threatened the vicar to keep his mouth shut, otherwise bad things will happen.
Ken's transformation into mafia family crime boss definitely had an impact, although maybe not the one the writers were expecting, as viewers found it hilarious that Ken had turned into The Godfather, even dubbing him Don Barleone.
