One of Coronation Street's darkest ever storylines is reaching its conclusion this week, and tonight (October 2) saw Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) give evidence against Nathan Curtis in his trial.
However before that, Bethany's life was at risk once again, when Mel Maguire kidnapped her in a bid to keep her away from the courtroom, but eventually had a change of heart and took her there.

Fans were relieved that Mel did the right thing (in the end) and got Bethany to court in time.
Instead of giving evidence via video link, Bethany decided she felt brave enough to face Nathan and his gang in court.
Viewers were once again impressed with Lucy's performance, as Bethany had to re-live the months of sexual abuse she endured.
Nathan's fate will be revealed in Wednesday night's tense double bill, and everyone is hoping he finally gets what he deserves.
