Coronation Street star Alison King has hinted to Digital Spy that she could still return to the show in the future.
The actress's popular character Carla Connor bows out in dramatic scenes next week following King's decision to leave the role. It was originally announced that King would take a break, but she later clarified that her exit would actually be a permanent one.
But could she be tempted back as Carla? Hit play above to see what King had to say when quizzed by Digital Spy at a Coronation Street press event yesterday.
King's on-screen partner Ben Price was also interviewed, revealing his future hopes for his character Nick Tilsley and whether the businessman is likely to go on the rebound after Carla leaves.
Price also discussed Nick's potential involvement - or lack of it - in the grisly discovery of Callum Logan's body at the Platt house.
Coronation Street fans will see Nick and Carla take centre stage in an explosive set of 9pm episodes next week, which concentrate on their wedding day.
