Much-loved female icons from Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks are being celebrated in a special collector's edition of Inside Soap.
The weekly soap magazine has been hard at work creating a jam-packed bonus issue titled Inside Soap Icons, which has been released today (May 30).
Strong women have been at the heart of soaps since the launch of Coronation Street in 1960, and Inside Soap Icons takes a loving look back at some of the most famous examples.
The extended 'bookazine' issue brings together 50 of the all-time great female soap characters, featuring classic favourites from the early days of soap as well as newer names who've quickly made a mark.
