Coronation Street first look at Kelly's revenge against Gary for Millie Gibson's final week

Coronation Street has unveiled the first look at Millie Gibson's exit as Kelly next week in a fresh teaser trailer, which you can watch above.

An unmissable week on the cobbles will see Kelly Neelan finally discover the truth that Gary Windass (Mikey North) killed her father Rick years ago and has been watching over her to soothe his guilt.

Kelly takes her anger to the extreme, seeking out one of her father's former henchmen, Kieron, with an offer of £10,000 to kill Gary — only for the hitman to decide he'd rather take out Kelly too!

The spectre of her late father Rick haunts Kelly's quest for revenge as she faces the possibility of her own death unless Gary and husband-to-be Aadi can help her escape the hitman.

Millie Gibson announced over the summer that she would be leaving Coronation Street after three years playing the hugely-popular character.

The young actress recently spoke to Digital Spy and other media about why the timing is right for her to say goodbye to Weatherfield.

"I think Corrie is a home," she told us. "It's the best way of describing it, it's a home. Because I'm so young, I thought: 'I've got to leave'. I have no responsibilities – I don't have kids, I don't have a mortgage to pay or anything like that, I'm still grateful to be living at home.
