Coronation Street's Todd Grimshaw gets drawn into bullying drama

Coronation Street spoilers ahead.

Todd Grimshaw is about to become entangled in George Shuttleworth and Frank Bardsley's bullying drama.

In upcoming Corrie scenes, after bumping into his high-school terroriser at The Rovers, George is adamant he won't forgive Frank for his past actions – so much so that he continually ignores him out on the cobbles.

George's partner Eileen Grimshaw later informs her son Todd of the pair's tainted history, which inspires him to reach out to George in the hope of exposing Frank once and for all. Whatever he has in mind though could potentially come to bite George in the backside.

Previously addressing his character's introduction, Frank actor Simon O'Brien told Digital Spy and other media that Frank is initially "pleased" when he sees George, only the niceties aren't exactly reciprocated.

"George has to really cover up the fact that just the very sight of Frank puts him in a very bad place. It makes him very anxious," the actor explained.

"George, being the mild-mannered character he is, was the butt of jokes at school. As it turns out, Frank may have been one of the ringleaders."

He continued: "George confides in Eileen that he has these suspicions that Frank is not what he appears. George remembers from very, very bitter experience that Frank can be a very nasty piece of work.

"But no-one really takes this on board. Frank himself, when he's confronted with this accusation, is utterly aghast because he just simply does not see himself as the person that George remembers."

Elsewhere on the street, Audrey Roberts' son Stephen Reid returns after 15 years next week.
