Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Peter is not letting sleeping dogs lie when it comes to the villainous Mr Thorne in Coronation Street, and it looks like his vendetta could send him off on another dangerous path.
Talking to Adam, Peter reveals that what Mr Thorne did – rushing his liver transplant on purpose in order to win a bet – is still troubling him, and he's been having a hard time letting his anger go.
But Peter is left even more frustrated after chatting to Adam, as it becomes apparent that there's simply just not enough evidence to be able to do anything about it.

Peter vents his feelings on the matter to Carla, and while she tries to persuade him to let it go and move on with his life, he's unable to do so.

He decides to take matters into his own hands, and makes a plan to trick the dodgy surgeon into admitting medical malpractice while he secretly records the conversation on his phone.
It backfires though, as Mr Thorne is on to Peter and catches him in the act. Has Peter blown his only chance to get justice for what he went through?
Chris Gascoyne had been teasing Peter's storyline recently in an interview, saying: "It's started him on that path again, it's confirming this self-loathing for himself that he has laying underneath.

"It's not an easy thing to live with, he is troubled and when he gets troubled like that and stops communicating with people again, that's when I don't know where he's going to go."
And it sounds like this story is one that could run for a while, with the actor adding: "I'm really looking forward to seeing how this pans out.
"We go from just one little strand here and one little thing that's happened which becomes just the tip of an iceberg, it's really interesting."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
