Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Imran Habeeb has discovered Abi Webster's plot to take baby Alfie and flee from Weatherfield in tense new scenes that aired tonight.
Monday's episode (May 30) opened with a dramatic flash-forward scene that saw several characters being taken to the police station, all while Leanne received some shocking news on the phone and Imran issued a heartfelt apology over the phone before the camera zoomed in on Imran and Toyah's wedding photo.

Back in the present, Imran (Charlie de Melo) finally had a crisis of conscience after Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) discovered that he'd been working with the dodgy Ben Chancellor to discredit Abi (Sally Carman) and ruin her chances of gaining custody of baby Alfie.
As Kelly called him out on his behaviour, Imran realised that he didn't like the person he had become and set off to apologise to Abi for everything.

Unbeknown to Imran, however, Abi and Kevin (Michael Le Vell) had been putting together a plan of their own, with Michael helping Abi with her plan to kidnap baby Alfie from Imran and Toyah and flee the country.
As Abi picked up the fake passports she'd organised for her and Alfie, she prepared to say her goodbyes to Kevin and Jack as she insisted to Kevin that she didn't know any other way of being with her son.
"I can't lose another child," Abi tearfully told him.
As Kevin and Abi finalised their plan to escape with Alfie, a chastened Imran was determined to make things right and turned up at Abi's to apologise.
"The way I've been with you is not fair," he admitted. "I just wanted to make sure that we're okay."
As Imran explained that he wanted to give Abi more visitation rights and hoped that they could be civil to each other for Alfie's sake, he was soon left horrified when he spotted the suitcase in Abi's home.
The episode ended with Imran making the discovery that Abi had secured a fake passport for baby Alfie, revealing her plot to flee the country.
This storyline marks the beginning of a dramatic week on Coronation Street, with the soap airing every weeknight ahead of the Britain's Got Talent live semi-finals as the ongoing custody dispute between Abi Webster and Imran Habeeb comes to a head.
Corrie bosses recently launched a new trailer to tie in with the big week of episodes, which feature a car crash, as the soap confirmed "chaos and carnage" await the cobbles' residents.
John Whiston, MD Continuing Drama and Head of ITV in the North, added: "The pigeons really do come home to roost for some of Corrie's best-loved characters in this fantastic week of edge of your seat drama.
"Secrets unravel, truths hurt and lives well and truly turn upside down as the lengths Imran went to, to take baby Alfie away from Abi are revealed. Whether your sympathies are with Abi, with Toyah or with Imran, this is not a week to be missed."
Coronation Street airs at the earlier time of 7.30pm all this week on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
