Corrie's Imran makes drastic decision in Alfie custody battle

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Imran Habeeb resorted to some very underhand measures in his custody battle with Abi Webster for baby Alfie tonight (May 4).

Tonight's instalment started off with Kelly Neelan begging Imran not to take Alfie away from his mum, while Elliot told Abi he would be representing her after a mystery person paid his fees under the condition they remained anonymous.

But while things looked up for Abi, following her chat with Elliot she noticed former friend and drug user Dean hanging around, having been released from prison on bail. He told her that she grassed on him and that he owed her, demanding £20 to score or he'd go to Imran and say she was using again.

She gave him money to get rid of him, but was secretly photographed by Ben, who Imran was paying to follow Abi around. He showed Imran the photos of money being exchanged, but Imran said that wasn't enough to be evidence in court. Ben told him that he could ask as a witness and lie, claiming that he saw Abi buying drugs.

What to Read Next

Although Imran knew that was incredibly illegal, Ben twisted his arm and said Abi would win custody if he had no ammunition against her. With no other option, he brought Ben out in court, and was awarded custody.

Afterwards, Toyah talked about how upset she was to see that Abi was on drugs again, and Imran had to hide his guilt. Will he be able to hide his deception for long, especially with drug tests coming up negative and admission he's had Abi followed, and what will Abi/Toyah do when the truth outs?

Looking at the spoilers for next week, it may not take long at all for that to happen.
