Corrie's Daisy left shocked by Daniel's past with Nicky

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Tonight's Coronation Street (April 20) saw Daisy's attempts at matchmaking backfire, leaving her shocked by Daniel's past with Nicky.

Aware that it was Nicky's first day at the school, Daisy suggested she and Daniel should catch up with her after work to chat.

She assured Daniel there was no "hidden agenda" with her plans, however she was soon asking around the Rovers for a "single, male, straight mate" to set Nicky up with. Things didn't go to plan when Nicky arrived at the Rovers and realised Daisy had tried to set her up with her ex Ashley.

Nicky was embarrassed as Ashley arrived and clearly recognised her, making her excuses and leaving the Rovers.

Daisy was then stunned to discover that Ashley knew Nicky as the name 'Tiffany Blue Knights' when she was a sex worker. Nicky told Daniel about the blind date Daisy organised, feeling humiliated that she knew him from her old job.

Back at the Rovers, Daisy revealed to Daniel she knew about Nicky's past. He pretended to be unaware of the revelation and told Daisy to be less judgemental.

Beth and Kirk weren't happy to see Nicky back. Daisy pressed them on this and discovered Daniel used to see Nicky.

She confronted him about the revelation. The pair argued about Nicky in the street where Max overheard Daisy refer to her as Tiffany. He later Googled the name and couldn't believe what he found.

Daniel said he never paid Nicky for sex but admitted he used to pay her to dress up as Sinead to cope with his grief. When Daisy learned Daniel and Nicky used to date, she gave him an ultimatum: cut contact with Nicky or their relationship is over for good.
