Coronation Street's Kevin Webster is set to face the wrath of Corey Brent's father Stefan when he tries to get him kicked off the local football team.
Over the last few months, Corey (Maximus Evans) has quite literally gotten away with murder, as Kelly Neelan (Mollie Gibson) was charged with killing Seb Franklin, despite Asha Alahan and Nina Lucas' insistence in court that he was the one responsible.

In next week's episodes, Kevin (Michael Le Vell), who's reeling from his breakup from Seb's mother Abi (Sally Carman), is left fuming when he discovers that the teenager has bagged a spot on Weatherfield County's first squad – and will be put on the bench during their next match.
Frustrated that Corey's involvement in the attack remains under wraps, Kevin, Nina (Mollie Gallagher) and Asha (Tanisha Gorey) resolve that his new teammates deserve to know who they're sharing the pitch with.
Kevin asks James to have a discreet word with County's manager, but when his scheme fails, Kevin sets out to speak to the manager himself. Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) offers to go with him, as Kevin insists that getting Corey thrown out of the club might encourage Abi to come home.

As the pair approach County's manager outside the grounds, Bob wastes no time reminding them both that Corey was lawfully acquitted.
Furious at Kevin for trying to interfere with his son's career, Stefan calls by the garage to warn him off, which prompts Tim to urge Kevin to forget about getting justice on Abi's behalf and focus on his own life with Jack.
Later, Tim tells Nina that Kevin's a broken man and that they need to both back down for the sake of their own sanity, but is Nina ready to throw in the towel?
