Debbie Webster could be the fly in Nick Tilsley and Leanne Battersby's web if their upcoming plan comes off.
It all starts with the pair refusing to increase their offer for half of the Bistro, which inspires Debbie to fake indifference and turn them down.
She then arranges for Ronnie Bailey to 'accidentally' ring Leanne's phone, pretending to be a potential buyer.

Later on, Leanne tells her partner about the phone call, but claims that it must've been a set-up orchestrated by Debbie.

Looking to get one over on her, Leanne and Nick later inform Debbie that they hear there's another interested party in town, so they'll be taking their business elsewhere.
An agreement is finally settled between the trio, but Nick admits to Leanne that he's worried she'll clash with Debbie as Bistro colleagues.

Offended by this seemingly casual implied sexism, Leanne insists they're more than capable of being professional in each other's company.
In some surprising scenes, Debbie and her new co-worker take the Bistro's fish supplier to task for attempting to rip them off.
After witnessing this, Nick accepts that the two women actually make a damn good team.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, August 16 and Wednesday, August 18 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
