Coronation Street has hinted at a possible baby storyline for Sarah and Adam Barlow.
In scenes set to air on Wednesday, August 18, the married couple – who reunited towards the end of last year following Adam's dalliance with Carla Connor – will be seen agreeing to look after Adam's cousin Bertie for an afternoon, while his father Daniel's off doing some errands.

The pair take Bertie to the Bistro for lunch and as they tuck into their meal, Sarah (Tina O'Brien) is struck by Adam's sweet, effortless nature with the youngster.
His behaviour prompts her to ask him whether he'd ever be interested in having a child of his own, which leaves Adam (Sam Robertson) feeling surprised and delighted.

Elsewhere, Sarah's brother Nick Tilsley and his partner Leanne Battersby will be seen striking up a business bond with Debbie Webster, having previously irritated her by refusing to up their offer to buy out half the Bistro.
Despite his initial concerns, Nick (Ben Price) is impressed to see the women work so well together when they confront the venue's fish supplier about their shoddy work.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, August 18 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
