Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs will make a blunder next week when he accidentally proposes to girlfriend Alina Pop.
Tyrone (Alan Halsall) has been facing a very difficult time after finding out that his ex-partner Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine)'s daughter Hope (Isabella Flanagan) – who he has raised as his own – was responsible for the fire that recently started in his and Alina's flat.
Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu), who was pregnant with her and Tyrone's baby, has also sadly had a miscarriage since being caught up in the fire.

Next week, Tyrone realises that he needs to tell the truth about Hope's involvement in the fire after Fiz spends a night in a cell under suspicion and so he visits the police, which leads to Hope being questioned and charged.

After Hope's visit to the police, Alina heads to the Rovers and is upset to hear Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) with Sally (Sally Dynevor) and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) talking about Fiz and Tyrone, full of sympathy for them both over the Hope situation. Feeling sorry for herself, Alina orders a double gin and tonic.
As tipsy Alina emerges from the Rovers later, she feels hurt when she spots Tyrone and Fiz heading over to Number 9 laden with chips. Fiz sees Alina weaving about in the Street and sends Tyrone off to see her home safely.
Later on at home, Alina admits to Tyrone that she felt forgotten while he was focusing on Fiz and Hope.

Tyrone tells her that he regrets how things have turned out, saying that he had imagined that they would marry and start a family. However, he's stunned when Alina agrees that they should try again and get married.
Tyrone realises that he has accidentally proposed to Alina. Is marriage really on the cards for the couple?
