Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Alina Pop is going to be left fearing for her life next week, as a fire starts in the salon flat while she is asleep.

It will become apparent that Tyrone Dobbs' daughter Hope is the culprit, after becoming annoyed that her dad is spending more time with his new girlfriend than her.

Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, Alina actress Ruxandra Porojnicu reveals that her character initially suspects Fiz Stape as the arsonist, and that the whole event puts a big strain on Alina and Tyrone's relationship.

"Finding out (Tyrone) kept the secret regarding the fire will definitely make Alina question Tyrone's feelings towards her... Understandably, Tyrone is trying to do the right thing, without realising how much heartbreak it will cause Alina in not being honest.
