Coronation Street will explore the aftermath of Todd Grimshaw's public disgrace next week, as he is shunned by his family and friends following the revelations about his scheming behaviour.
Todd (Gareth Pierce) purposely sabotaged his partner Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank)'s previous relationship with Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) so he could get back together with Billy, and Todd has been living on borrowed time ever since.

His sneaky actions finally catch up with him this week after his young accomplice Will (Ben Hackett) discovers Todd has ripped him off over a stolen heat pump.

An angry Will tells Billy's daughter Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) the truth about Todd, before sending a video of Todd gloating about his behaviour to Paul – which Paul is quick to play to all the Street residents at the charity calendar's launch party.
With Billy and Summer furious with Todd, and Todd facing arrest for the theft of the water pump, he won't be feeling particularly happy next week.
Billy decides to kick Todd out of their flat, leaving Todd no choice but to spend the night sleeping in the funeral parlour where he works.

His colleague George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) tells Todd's mum Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) about Todd's situation, suggesting that she ought to cut her son a bit of slack. Eileen is left torn between concern for her son and disgust over what he has done.
Later, a dejected Todd hunts through the rental property pages to try to find somewhere to live. He admits to George that he can't find a place within his price bracket, as he's still paying Billy back for the stolen heat pump.

With Todd unable to find anywhere to stay, George insists that he come home with him instead.
Could this be the start of a turnaround for disgraced Todd? And is his relationship with Billy over for good following his deception?
Actor Gareth Pierce recently spoke about whether he thinks his character is "redeemable" following his nasty behaviour, saying that he tries to view Todd "with some compassion".
"I think for me with Todd, there's a sadness at what he lost when he left last time, and actually I think it's his determination to get back with Billy and also to that co-parenting role with Summer that's driving a lot of his perhaps uglier behaviour," he said.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, August 2 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
