Coronation Street has confirmed the outcome of Alina Pop's baby bombshell.
Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) realised that she might be pregnant last week, as she confided in her friend and housemate Emma Brooker about feeling nauseous.

In Tuesday night's hour-long episode, Alina takes a pregnancy test and gets a positive result.
Alina is thrown, as the discovery comes just as she's questioning Tyrone's commitment to their relationship.
Alina gets upset when Sally Metcalfe tells her about Tyrone's traumatic history with his abusive ex-partner Kirsty Soames, who has recently died.
She questions why Tyrone (Alan Halsall) didn't tell her about this and also feels left out that Fiz Stape is the one he's leaning on for support.

When Alina tells Tyrone that she's pregnant, he walks out of their flat in a confused state – admitting that he can't deal with it at the moment as he's trying to organise Kirsty's funeral and put her affairs in order. Alina is devastated by his lack of support.
Later, however, Tyrone returns home in a better frame of mind and confirms to Alina that he does want the baby.
Alina says: "Me being a mother, it just felt amazing. Like a little piece of magic. But I know you don't feel the same and I don't blame you. It would be crazy to have a baby now."
Tyrone replies: "Well, look, it was crazy for you to kiss me. I mean, it was crazy that we fell in love but I'm glad we did. Let's just keep being crazy – it's worked so far.
"Okay, look, I admit it took a bit of time to sink in, but now it has, it's like: 'Let's go for it'."
