Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has opened up about Maria Connor and Gary Windass's (Mikey North) future – and it isn't looking good.
Viewers will remember Gary killed Rick Neelan in self-defence in June 2019 and buried the body, and has so far got away with it all, but Maria and others are beginning to ask questions.
With Gary's ex Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) accusing him outright of murder and calling the police anonymously, resulting in him being questioned about Rick's disappearance, Samia revealed that Maria just doesn't trust him anymore.

She told Digital Spy and other media: "I think it's really pushing her to the edge with him, I don't think it's looking good for them because of the level of trust that she hasn't got for him any more because of all this, she just knows, deep down, that he's hiding someone from her and something so serious."
Samia explained that Maria knew their relationship could be a bit "bumpy", but she didn't realise it could potentially be over just a few months into their marriage.
"But at the same time, she knew what he was like when she married him so I think she has expected a bit of a bumpy ride, but not this bumpy, not for him to be accused of murder," she said.
"She's excelled herself this time, marrying a potential murderer. She's been engaged to one before but not actually married one."

Samia explains that Maria gets "angry with him and angry at herself" for being sucked into Gary's lies when she realises that he could have actually murdered Rick.
"I think the shutters are coming down, she realises that she could've married a murderer and it's quite scary for her.
"She's more angry than anything, it's not even that she's highly emotional about it, she's really angry with him because she's asked him so many times to tell her the truth and to tell her everything about everything, and I think she's just really angry with him and angry with herself as well for being sucked in."
