Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is set to freak out Nicky Wheatley (Kimberly Hart-Simpson) as his grief storyline continues next week.
The Weatherfield resident is still grieving the loss of his wife Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn), who died tragically of cancer last November and has been leaning on Nicky — quite literally — for comfort.
In scenes to air next week, Daniel will call Nicky and beg her to see him later, leaving Nicky to reluctantly agree.
However, Daniel's desperate gratitude is of great concern to her and things only get worse from there.

What to Read Next
When Nicky arrives for her appointment at Daniel's flat, she's taken aback to discover he has cooked them a meal.
Daniel then hands Nicky Sinead's cardigan for her to wear, leaving Nicky no other choice but to try to hide her discomfort.
Later in the evening, Nicky tells Daniel that his time is up and suggests he'd probably be better off talking to friends and family rather than wasting his money on her.
Nonetheless, as she attempts to leave, it's clear Daniel's reliance on Nicky may have gone a little too far. How long can this situation really go on for? And is it only a matter of time before someone close to Daniel finds out?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, August 19 and Friday, August 21 at 7.30pm on ITV.
