Coronation Street's Geoff Metcalfe looks set to return to his abusive ways next week as he confronts his ex-partner Elaine Jones.
Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) is at risk of losing control following the arrival of Elaine, who was cruelly mistreated by him when they were in a relationship years ago.
New spoilers on Coronation Street's official website have revealed that Elaine (Paula Wilcox) will continue her efforts to expose Geoff's true nature.
Next week, Elaine crosses paths with Geoff's daughter-in-law Sally (Sally Dynevor) at Roy's Rolls.

Sally is already suspicious over Geoff, so is sure to be intrigued when Elaine tells her about the schemer's dark past.
Later on, Elaine is horrified when Geoff menacingly approaches her on the street.
Geoff's granddaughter Faye (Ellie Leach) witnesses their argument and becomes the latest character to grow suspicious over what he's up to.

Things grow more complicated for Geoff when the police turn up on the cobbles to speak to him, forcing him to lie again.
