Coronation Street footballer James Bailey experiences homophobia next week, facing a nasty incident with a so-called fan of his team.
New spoilers on Corrie's official website have revealed that trouble comes to the cobbles when a bigoted Weatherfield County supporter targets James close to home.

Earlier this year, James learned that rumours about his sexuality were circulating online, thanks to a comment made by his short-lived love interest Danny.
James later had a meeting with his manager at County and the club's press officer, but lied to them by insisting that he's straight. As a result, he was advised to say nothing and let the attention pass.
Nathan Graham, who plays James, told Digital Spy earlier this year: "I don't know what's to come myself, but I would imagine it's going to be a long journey. James has got to tell his team-mates eventually and then he might come out publicly. That would be another hurdle for him to face.

"Plus, would there be another love interest if James was out as a professional footballer? That's just me thinking of what could happen. I don't know myself yet, as I don't have those scripts and I don't go upstairs asking what's to come.
"I just wait for the scripts to land in my pigeon hole at work. But I think if we're exploring the issue, there'll be a lot to come."
Coronation Street currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
