Coronation Street's Eileen Grimshaw star Sue Cleaver is desperate for Ryan Thomas to return to the soap, four years after his exit.
Ryan portrayed Eileen's son Jason Grimshaw for 16 years, but left the ITV soap in order to pursue other projects.
This included a stint on Neighbours and Celebrity Big Brother, which he won in 2018.

"I'd love Ryan Thomas to come back and I do keep badgering him all the time," she recently confessed to Inside Soap.
"But he's become a social media influencer and he's just had another baby, who I haven't met yet because we are in lockdown. But I'll be on his case for the rest of eternity, though!"

Meanwhile, Sue also weighed in on another absentee from her character's life.
She explained: "I doubt very much that we'll see the return of her sister Julie [Carp], because Katy Cavanagh, who played her, is busy managing her son's Hollywood career!
"He's called Noah Jupe and he's in every big film coming out of Hollywood right now, including A Quiet Place: Part II. So Katy has her hands full!"
Coronation Street currently airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
