Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has revealed she's given herself a jazzy new hair colour now that she won't be filming any new episodes of the long-running ITV soap in the near future.
ITV suspended the filming of Coronation Street and Emmerdale last month in response to the coronavirus pandemic, with the channel operating a reduced broadcasting schedule to compensate.
With some extra time on her hands, and having been inspired by the '#isolationcreation' hashtag that's been doing the rounds on social media, Tina has now taken to Instagram to reveal that she has transformed her dark blonde locks by dying them pink.
Posting an up-close selfie on Thursday (April 9), she wrote: "Pastel pink hair #isolationcreation (staring out the window, remembering the days of watching for the ice cream van)."
Tina's Corrie colleague Kate Ford was among those sharing her love for the new 'do, taking to the comments section to say it looked "gorgeous", while Bhavna Limbachia, who played Rana Habeeb, and Katie McGlynn, who played Sinead Tinker also praised the transformation in the comments section.

Funnily enough, former Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon also revealed her own hair transformation on Instagram earlier this week, joking that it would likely be the first of many colours she tries out on her light blonde hair.
The actress showed off her new, warmer peachy tone in a series of photos, adding the caption: "What a fun side of life I've just entered."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
