Former Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has responded to whether or not she would join another soap in the future.
Lucy played Bethany Platt until earlier this year, when her character left for London without Daniel Osbourne. But when she was asked by OK! Magazine about the possibility of a role on a rival soap, the star said that she plans to stay loyal to Corrie.
"Definitely not," she said. "I loved Corrie so much, it would feel like I was cheating on them!"

Lucy also said again that she would consider a return to Weatherfield in the future.
"I'd never say never because Bethany didn't die," she commented. "I didn't leave because I didn't enjoy it. I left because I felt like if I didn't leave now and try to experience life, I would never leave.
"That wouldn't be a bad thing, but I didn't want to get to 10 years down the line and think, 'I should have gone for a couple of years to experience other things'."
She also explained that she wanted to "focus on acting rather than reality shows" for the time being.
Lucy previously shared that she was "both nervous and excited" for the future.
Earlier this month, she admitted that her mother would have preferred for her to stay on the ITV soap, explaining: "As a mum, she probably worries about me. The fact that I might not get a job, I might not work again."
