Kym Marsh has revealed that she will be hosting The One Show for one episode later this month.
The former Coronation Street star, who played Michelle Connor for more than a decade until leaving in December 2019, confirmed in her OK! Magazine column that she will be presenting with Alex Jones this Friday (March 20).
"I have two big announcements for you all!" she said. "I can exclusively reveal that I'm joining the cast of 9 to 5: The Musical later this year, in the role played by Louise Redknapp – Violet Newstead.

"I went to see Amber Davies in it last year and absolutely loved the show. It's got a great energy and is all about empowering women, which is a really important message to send out.
"I'm also co-hosting The One Show with Alex Jones on 20 March. I've always enjoyed doing live TV – let's hope I don't make a mistake."

Kym's appearance comes ahead of Matt Baker's final day on the show.
Back in December, Matt announced that he was quitting as regular host after nine years. His final day will be on Tuesday, March 31.
"It's time to give somebody else the opportunity to see how big-hearted and generous you, our One Show viewers, really are," he previously said.
The One Show airs Mondays through Fridays at 7pm on BBC One.
