Coronation Street has confirmed that Bethany Platt's exit scenes will air next week.
Bethany is bowing out from the ITV soap, as actress Lucy Fallon has decided to pursue other career opportunities after a five-year stint in the role.
New Coronation Street spoilers on the show's official website have now revealed that Bethany's final scenes will be linked to her controversial relationship with Daniel Osbourne.
Bethany and Daniel (Rob Mallard) have decided to explore their feelings for each other, despite fears that Daniel is moving on too quickly from the tragic death of his wife Sinead.

Next week, Daniel becomes determined to prove the depth of his love for Bethany after the doubts they've faced so far, so he comes up with a grand gesture.

However, with Daniel's behaviour starting to become increasingly erratic, it's possible that Bethany will be put off from their romance once and for all.
Later the same day, Bethany realises that the time has come for her to leave the cobbles, so her loved ones gather together to say goodbye.

Coronation Street bosses have always hinted that Bethany's relationship with Daniel would end in heartbreak, so will she be leaving alone?
Lucy also recently warned: "It's a hard one because I feel sorry for her. Now that things have started to get out of control I would probably say, 'Take a step back, it's not right for you and you'll only end up getting hurt'."
The actress filmed her final Coronation Street scenes last month.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
