Soaps can be pretty miserable affairs, with characters constantly being murdered or finding out their sibling is actually their parent or whatever, but that doesn't mean the cast can't have some fun on set.
Ahead of the National Television Awards, the official Coronation Street Twitter account has uploaded a brand new blooper reel that shows some of your favourite actors losing it on set.

In the video, which you can see at the bottom of this page, we see Peter Barlow actor Chris Gascoyne almost sneeze over Daniel Osbourne actor Rob Mallard's glass. We also see Michael Le Vell (Kevin Webster) gets confused over being asked to mime his lines, and Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) can't keep a straight face over Maureen Lipman's (Evelyn Plummer) dialogue.
We'd like to see a lot of more of these, so if you're reading this, ITV, make this a regular thing please.
In just over a week's time, Coronation Street will air its 10,000th ever episode and will confirm that a classic character has died.

Just a few days ago, Bethany Platt actress Lucy Fallon filmed her final scenes for the soap, and it was quite the emotional affair.
"To the viewers, thank you for the endless amount of support I have received over the years.
