Coronation Street real-life couple Joe Duttine and Sally Carman have revealed that they spent New Year's Day doing a "near naked" swim in the freezing sea. As you do.
The Tim Metcalfe and Abi Franklin stars, who recently moved into their first home together, shared a number of posts from their exploits to welcome in 2020.
In one Instagram clip, they are seen braving cold and harsh winds on a beach, Sally captioning it: "We went for a near naked swim in the North Sea after this was taken #icantbelieveiteither #bloodytruethough"

And sure enough it was "bloody true", as the actress then posted a series of pictures of them going into the sea with their dog. Rather them than us, to be honest.
"Start as you mean to go on #happynewdecade," she captioned the pictures.
The couple were first reported to be together back in August 2018, and were said to have gone public at Coronation Street's summer party.
Sally has since shared a number of photographs of them together, including a post celebrating their one-year anniversary back in June.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
