Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon says she's worried she "might never work again" after she leaves the long-running soap next year.
In a candid interview with BANG Showbiz at Nickelodeon's SlimeFest 2019 in Blackpool, the 23-year-old – who has played Bethany Platt on the ITV series since 2015 – admitted to having "absolutely nothing" lined-up for when she bows out.
"It is really scary because obviously I don't know what's going to happen," she explained.

Nevertheless, she's trying to remain optimistic, saying: "I'm not putting too much pressure on myself, I'll see what happens."
While her future in acting may be uncertain right this minute, Lucy knows what type of projects she'd like to be involved in after she's done walking the cobbles.

"I'd like to stay doing dramas, short films," she shared. "Anything like that would be perfect."
During the same chat, Lucy also revealed that she's "not 100% sure" how Bethany is going to be written out of Coronation Street yet, but she hopes that the writers leave it open for her to return later down the line.
"I'm not 100 per cent sure what happens yet. Hopefully it's just sort of, I'll leave. It's up to them. It was my decision [to leave] so I've just got to let them do what they want to do."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
