Coronation Street newcomer Jed is set to turn violent in upcoming scenes when he punches Robert Preston as the two continue to clash over Vicky Jefferies.
Last week, Corrie's Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill) saw his already-complicated double life become even trickier to juggle as Vicky's ex-partner Jed – Tyler's father – unexpectedly came back into her life and offered her a chance to start over in Ireland.
With Robert growing frustrated over Jed's (Bramwell Donaghey) frequent appearances and Vicky getting ready to move away, new images from next week's episodes on the ITV website have revealed that it's not long before Robert and Jed's growing conflict turns violent.

Ahead of the bust up, it looks like Robert's secrets will begin to spiral out of control when he begins the week by telling his fiancée Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) that he's going to be away from home for a few days visiting a young offenders unit.
In reality, he's looking to spend some more time with the mother of his baby Vicky (Kerri Quinn). Robert and Vicky organise a shopping trip and it looks like things between them are going well, but when they return home, an angry Jed is waiting for them and spoiling for a fight.
