Gary Windass continued down his path of villainy during tonight's (June 28) hour-long episode of Coronation Street.
After fighting to the death with loan shark Rick Neelan recently, Gary appears to be taking on an all-too-familiar mantle. Just how far will his new character arc take him though?

Gary started off tonight's dodgy action by agreeing to lend one of Rick's former clients Carl some cash, promising that he wouldn't charge any interest or take his passport as collateral – which was always Rick's technique.
A lot can change in a short period of time though, and Gary's mentality soon darkened once he met another loan seeker.

What to Read Next
There was a seemingly touching moment tonight when Gary stared at himself in the mirror – maybe suggesting some deep soul-searching – but the behaviour he showed next proved his new aggressive ways.
Meeting up with the aforementioned loan seeker, Gary changed his approach and insisted on charging £200 interest for the loan, as well as snatching the guy's passport.
Do we have the next Rick on our hands?
