Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine has teased her return to the cobbles in a new Instagram post.
Jennie took a break from the soap for the birth of her second child, Hilda. Her character Fiz Stape left Weatherfield back in December.
Fiz left behind a teary Tyrone Dobbs after heading to Birmingham to seek specialist help to deal with her daughter Hope's increasingly alarming behaviour.
In an Instagram post on Friday (June 21), Jennie could be seen poring over new scripts with a mug of milky tea.
She captioned the post: "Friday night reading. Hoping it's just like riding a bike."
For now we still don't know the details of her character's return. Will Hope have made progress in Birmingham?

Jennie confirmed that she has no intentions of leaving the role during a podcast earlier this year. She said: "I do love it. The thing is, you never, never know and I can't ever take it for granted because [the writers] might have other ideas one day.
"But for now, I love it and I live in Manchester. I've got my life in Manchester and now two children in Manchester."
Thankfully, it looks like her return is imminent.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
