Coronation Street gives young character Joseph Brown a central role in Wednesday night's episodes (February 13) as he inadvertently sparks trouble for his dad Chesney's relationship.
Joseph uses the F-word in an argument with his father, leaving Chesney outraged when he learns that Gemma Winter was a bad influence by swearing in front of him earlier on.
The character of Joseph is played by child actor William Flanagan, who took over the role in 2017 when Chesney's son returned from Portugal.
In real life, William is the younger brother of Emmerdale star Amelia Flanagan, who plays April Windsor on the fellow ITV soap.
There's another member of the multi-talented family in the soap world too – William's twin sister Isabella Flanagan plays Fiz Stape's troublesome daughter Hope in Corrie (Joseph's on-screen cousin).
Speaking when he was cast in 2017, William commented: "I'm absolutely loving my new job. To be able to act alongside my sisters is really fun. We all learn scripts together and we all help each other out when we practice our lines.

"The audition was hard – I had to have a first audition and then come back and do a screen test. The people at Corrie are really fun to work with, especially Sam who plays my dad."
William, Isabella and Amelia's proud parents Chris and Rachel regularly share updates on the trio on social media, while fans often get in touch to praise the kids' impressive performances.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
