Coronation Street icon Sue Nicholls – that's Audrey Roberts to you and me – has been helping the public outside a Sainsbury's store.
The actress just entered her fortieth year on the Weatherfield cobbles, but it's her life off the screen that seems to have stolen the limelight recently as one Twitter fan discussed a recent encounter with her.
Alongside a photo of the two together, Tariq Malik posted: "The only time that I don't have a £1 coin to use for the trolleys at Sainsbury's and all people to ask is, flaming Audrey Roberts from Coronation Street."
If there's anything to learn from this, it's that not all heroes wear capes. If it wasn't for Sue, this gentleman might have had to leave his precious Crunchy Nut Cornflakes on the shelf.
