Casualty spoilers follow.
Teddy Gowan's health scare storyline has released more details ahead of Casualty's double-bill this Saturday (February 26) on BBC One.
The young paramedic's mum Gaynor will insist on staying with her son for a few weeks after growing increasingly concerned about him – a decision that's soon criticised by Gaynor's sister Jan Jenning (who also happens to be Teddy's boss).

Stressed over playing mediator between his mum and auntie, Teddy is then overpowered by dizziness, but he ignores it.
Later, Teddy and Jan tend to Lesley, who'd slipped off the side of a bridge during her attempts to locate missing daughter Cerys. Back on the ward, consultant Dylan Keogh is worried when a confused Lesley demands to be discharged, while receptionist Paul sets up a stand for health tinctures.

Gaynor's next encounter with Teddy is almost a revelatory one, as her and Jan's continuous bickering causes her son to experience yet another dizzy spell, which he just about manages to conceal.

Out of nowhere, Cerys strolls into the hospital, revealing that she never went missing and she's been staying at her friend's house; Lesley accuses her of not being her real daughter, which results in Cerys recounting a road accident with her mum at the wheel.
This sparks an idea in Teddy's mind about what her condition could be, while they go on to discover that Lesley suffered a number of mini strokes and her wayward memory is a rare side effect of this.
Meanwhile, Gaynor and Jan lower their verbal weapons and reach a truce, but a hassled Teddy seems attracted to Paul's pitch regarding holistic treatments, so much so that he's seen leaving with a pocketful of tinctures.
Casualty airs on Saturdays on BBC One.
