Georgia May Foote has spoken out about social media, arguing that it can be damaging to a person's mental health.
The former Coronation Street star, who also participated in the 2015 series of Strictly Come Dancing, shared her thoughts on Instagram after seeing a sticker on Gigi Hadid's phone case reading, 'Social media seriously harms your mental health'.
"Think about it," Georgia wrote. "[Gigi] has everything, everything that most people want. Loads of people aspire to be like her. They wanna look like her, dress like her, have her ex-boyfriend [Zayn Malik].
"It's mental. It just shows that no matter how happy someone can look on social media – how rich they can be, how famous they are, how successful they are – when you open your phone and you see other people looking the way they [are] looking and acting the way they act, it will forever not make you feel good enough."
In a separate post, Georgia opened up about her own anxiety.
"Every day is different," she said. "Some days, I'm distracted and fine. Other days, it takes me dropping a sock on the way to do a wash, which means I won't have a pair when the washed ones come out, to literally have a breakdown and cry.

"But the thing with anxiety is, it's not always the heartbreak, the pain, the loss, the argument with a friend that makes it bad. It can be anything and everything.
"Why? We don't know. We can't explain... But just tell yourself, 'It's okay. It's going to be okay. And it's okay not to be okay!'"
Georgia played Katy Armstrong on the cobbles between 2010 and 2015. In October 2017, her character was killed off-screen in a car accident – which devastated a lot of Corrie fans.
