Bruised and battered, Robbie is photographed and questioned at the police station after reporting Will for domestic abuse. DI Donald questions Robbie with DCI Grant urging caution - loyalty to Will mustn't prevent Robbie's accusations being taken seriously.
Back at his flat, Robbie refuses to listen to Will's apologies as he's had enough. Shocked by Robbie's stance, Will is stunned when the police arrive and take him away following a worried call from Scarlett.
Feeling cornered, Will decides to fight back but DI Donald warns him that if he denies the assault, he risks putting his police career on the line.
Meanwhile, unbeknown to Alex, Kelly-Marie makes some tentative enquiries about abortion. At a loss over what to do, she turns to Jimmy and confides in him about her plans to terminate the pregnancy. For her, it's the only way to escape Alex, but Jimmy is sceptical that it's what she really wants.
Elsewhere, over at the O'Haras', Molly is faced with money worries when a jobless Ellie can't afford to pay her rent. Spotting an opportunity to free up a room, Molly engineers a romantic night for Bob and Ellie, little realising they're already together.
