Katie Holmes is reportedly planning a party to celebrate the first anniversary of her divorce from Tom Cruise.
This Saturday (June 29) will mark a year since Holmes filed for divorce from the actor following six years of marriage.
According to The Sun, the 34-year-old plans to mark the occasion by celebrating at the Jane hotel in Manhattan, New York.
A source says that the actress plans to invite her closest friends and that the party will be "enjoyable and emotional, with Katie wanting to thank them for their support throughout a momentous year".
Following the split, Holmes moved to a $12,500-a-month (£8,000) apartment in New York with the couple's 7-year-old daughter Suri.
The Batman Begins actress is currently working in the city and was recently photographed filming scenes for Spike Lee-produced film Mania Days.
