Alex Reid has said that his ex-wife Katie Price's career is waning.
The cage fighter told New that Price's statement that he became "fascinated by life in the media eye" was hypocritical.
Reid said: "I don't get it. She accuses me of everything she's doing herself.
"Her career is waning and it has been for some time, so that's the only reason I can imagine she's doing it.
"It's how she's always made her money. She's successful with her books and a TV show. I don't know why she needs to talk about me. I wish she'd leave me alone."
Reid recently said that while he was "devastated" by the split at first, he can "actually smile about it" now.

Asked if his current relationship with Chantelle Houghton is becoming more serious, Reid said: "Definitely. It's still the honeymoon period so we're still conscious it's only been a few months.
"Ideally, I'd like to take my time but it doesn't always happen like that. She is The One."

Of their plans to have children, he added: "It's on both our minds. It's a scary but exciting time. We're not putting any pressure on each other. I'm ready for kids. I'm ready now and I think she's the right girl.
"We need to sort living arrangements and get a few things in order. I've been ready for a while. And now I just know I've found the right person."
