Stephen Fry has been playing cupid to the stars during tonight's BAFTAs (February 14).

The actor and comedian tried to get celebrities to share a 'snog' during his opening monologue at the Royal Opera House in London.

Things got a little bit awkward as Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander refused to kiss, but Fry had better luck with Stanley Tucci and Cuba Gooding Jr locking lips.

Meanwhile, Maggie Smith and Leonardo DiCaprio also flashed up on screen, and the pair pretended to share a smooch.

Julianne Moore and Bryan Cranston also played along, and so did Eddie Izzard and Rebel Wilson.

However, later on there was another slightly awkward moment as Laura Haddock tried and failed to get a kisscam moment going with her co-presenter Adewale Akinnuoye-Adbaje.
