Pop sensation Ariana Grande has posted an online tribute to her late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.

The 'Dang!' rapper – who dated Grande for around two years – was pronounced dead at the scene after being found at his home in San Fernando Valley on September 7.

Marking her first post on social media since the news broke, Ariana posted a caption-free black and white picture of Miller as he sits on some grass peering up at the camera.

The post follows after Ariana disabled her Instagram comments over the weekend as trolls began blaming her for his passing.

Ariana and Mac Miller broke up amicably earlier this year, with the singer tweeting after their break-up: "I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety and prayed for his balance for years."

Grande is now engaged to comedian Pete Davidson.
