Jane the Virgin actress Gina Rodriguez has confirmed that she is, in fact, engaged!
She told People: "I am [engaged]! He's the best. He's the f**king best. We've been engaged for like a month – I've kept it a secret for a while."
Gina has been dating actor Joe LoCicero since 2016, after first meeting him on the set of Jane the Virgin when he played a stripper who appeared in season two.
She also said: "I think there's a huge blessing in the fact that people care. That's a beautiful thing, so that feels really good. But another part of me wants to keep a little something that's just mine, 'cause there's not too many things I have like that anymore."
The confirmation continues the summer of celebrity engagements, following speculation that Gina may have joined the club after posting photos of her wearing a huge ring.
While vacationing in Mexico for her birthday, Gina decided to post some pictures on the 'Gram, as one does. But these weren't basic vacation pics featuring a cocktail with an umbrella. If you look, Gina is wearing a giant ring on that finger. Tbh, you don't even have to look closely or zoom in because it's so huge!

While Gina first met Joe on the set of Jane the Virgin, they didn't start dating until she ran into him at the gym months later. Joe also posted a few photos of Gina from their holiday, wishing her a happy birthday in the caption without commenting on the engagement.
Speaking to People, Gina added that she's hesitant to talk about their relationship and engagement.
"I don't even really want to say it's happening," she said. "I just want to live!"
Jane the Virgin will return to The CW for its fifth and final season.
