The following article contains allegations of sexual misconduct that some readers may find distressing.
Andy Samberg has shared that he and his fellow Brooklyn Nine-Nine cast members are in awe of Terry Crews after he appeared in front of U.S. senators last week to talk about his experience of sexual assault.
Since speaking about his experiences in public, the footballer-turned-actor has had to endure some unwanted and unnecessary criticism from people like 50 Cent on social media.
However, Crews responded to the criticism with style and class on Twitter, and now his Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-star, Samberg, has voiced his support and admiration for his friend and colleague.
"We have a cast text chain and we were all texting him how incredible it was," Samberg told the Associated Press on Thursday after Crews' testimony. "He's a miracle. Terry's the best guy," Samberg continued. "I am proud to know him."
Crews and Samberg have been working together ever since Brooklyn Nine-Nine's pilot episode, which is now going into its sixth season after having been briefly cancelled by Fox, only be to be picked up by NBC.
