When Holly Willoughby posted a rare photo of her dad on Father's Day, she probably wasn't expecting her Instagram fans to react in the way they did.

Because while the Father's Day message she wrote to dad Terry in the accompanying caption was undeniably touching, Holly's followers were more interested in pointing out his resemblance to another ITV star. None other than Good Morning Britain's Piers Morgan...

Yep, Holly's post was soon inundated with comments from users convinced that Terry Willoughby is Piers' doppelgänger.

"For a split second I thought he was Piers Morgan!!" wrote one person, while another added: "Piers Morgan is your dad?"

A third joked: "I didn't realise your dad was @thepiersmorgan," while another replied: "Sorry Holly but he looks like @piersmorgan :( lol."

Others were less adamant that the two men looked like twins, but still pointed out a resemblance...

"Your dad has a slight look of Piers Morgan," said one, and another added: "Wow. Your Dad has a slight passing resemblance to @thepiersmorgan."

Well, we guess we can sort of see what they mean – particularly around the eye area... Other fans couldn't quite believe how young Terry looks for his age.

"No way is he your pops, he looks far too young!! What fabulous genes," said one person. Another replied: "Wow he looks so young," while a third added: "He doesn't look old enough to be your Dad, bless him!"

This isn't the first time Holly's followers have noted how youthful her parents look – when she posted a photo of her mum Lynne celebrating her 70th birthday last month, no-one could quite believe her age.
