Some couples wait months to go Instagram official on swan floats, at music festivals, whatever have you, to build up their story. But singer Ariana Grande and Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson, who were reported to be casually dating just a week ago, have jumped straight to their couple shot.
The first photo of the two together appears on Trainwreck actor Davidson's Instagram, and it's only a Harry Potter homage. Grande, who identifies as a Slytherin, poses with Davidson, who identifies as a Gryffindor. They're wearing their House sweaters and cloaks; his hat literally says "I love you" and it's very cute:
He also appears in Grande's Instagram story, which she posted on Wednesday (May 29):
Rumoured back-on exes Bella Hadid and The Weeknd liked the shot, and Grande left two comments – an emoji one and a second cheesy pun one. "U tryna to Slytherin (I'm deleting my account now)," she wrote.
Grande hinted the shot was coming yesterday, when she posted a selfie of herself in her Slytherin sweater, with the caption – likely for Davidson – "in case u forgot". He liked the Insta, confirming he got the message:
Davidson and Grande have not been subtle about the fact they're seeing each other since reports first broke. They've been liking each other's Instagrams for some time and regularly commenting on each other's photos now.
