Blake Lively's very effective PR move of erasing her entire Instagram and unfollowing everyone except 30+ girls named Emily Nelson to promote her upcoming film A Simple Favour continues to pay off.

Now, her unfollowed husband Ryan Reynolds, who was doing some press for Deadpool 2 on Australian radio programme Smallzy's Surgery, talked about it.

(Deadpool 2 is out May 18, and frontman Reynolds will be out there promoting it hard these next couple of weeks, so expect a few more faux marital drama jokes from these two.)

Smallzy asked Reynolds about Lively unfollowing him while he was playing a drawing game with the host.

"Yes, she did. I'm very sad about that," Reynolds responded, deadpan because he was multi-tasking, and sarcasm is his signature humour.

"Definitely stinks. It's a terrible way to find out that I've been kicked out of the house, to be honest. Absolutely terrible. I don't know where rage like that comes from."

Smallzy responded that at least the pair's daughters, James and Ines Reynolds, are too young to understand.

"Yeah, that's true, yeah," Reynolds said, before acting out the would-be conversation. "'Mommy unfollowed daddy on Instagram.' My child would just fart and then walk away."

Yesterday (May 2), Lively posted the teaser for A Simple Favour on her Instagram – her only post right now on the page. It has more than 3.1 million views at this point, so operation successful for her... and him soon enough.

Because aren't you more excited now to see the two posing, interviewing and bantering together on the red carpet for the Deadpool 2 premiere?
