It's the question that was on everyone's lips after Beyoncé's historic two-hour performance.
And while it was asked again, and again, and again, most of us were satisfied with the answer: 'It's Beyoncé, she can do anything.'
And, although this is true, she didn't change her nail colour mid-set.
In fact, she had different coloured nails for her dress rehearsal, which was photographed and used on her site and Instagram, than for her performance, which was filmed and partially professionally photographed.
Here are photos of a crowd-less dress rehearsal from her Instagram account, complete with silver nails on show.
And here's a photo from Getty which shows the star was rocking some fierce black talons live on the evening.
So, as Ben and Ellie's theory goes, she didn't actually change nails mid-performance, but the surfacing of different pictures from the dress rehearsal and the show made people believe that she'd somehow pulled off a quick nail transformation.
So there we have it. Case closed, people.
And she would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids.
