Longtime BFFs (...except for that whole iconic 2005-and-onward falling out because Nicole "[knew] what she did") Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie hung out at an event in LA on Sunday (April 8).
And as well as the photo above, Paris confirmed the reunion with two additional super happy pics on Twitter.
"Love you @NicoleRichie. No one could make me laugh like you do," she captioned the pics of them laughing(!).
Even before that, though, Paris tweeted out a poll asking if The Simple Life should be rebooted, to which 81% of people said "Yes".
If you'll dive back into your archives with us, The Simple Life was a very popular 2003 show where Paris (rich, entitled) and Nicole (also rich, also entitled) struggled to do manual labour and generally fit in with the working class of America (until their uber-mega-gigantic friendship-ending fight).
They were – spoiler alert!!!! – very bad at this. It was widely considered to be – spoiler alert!!!!!!!!!!!!! – very funny.

Anyway, people are freaking out over on Twitter as (1) Paris and Nicole really, really did not get along for awhile, (2) because they are in very different places in their lives right now than they were when they shot the show, and (3) Paris is giving people reason to believe a The Simple Life return is actually not out of the realm of possibility??
