If you're an actor in Hollywood, you know you've finally made it when you've won an Oscar got your own category on legendary US quiz show Jeopardy!

Reese Witherspoon might already have an Academy Award for her part in Walk the Line, but she truly hit the big time this week when "Reese Witherspoon Movies" was a category on the daytime series.

Three contestants were lined up, having to guess the Reese Witherspoon movie by the name of the character she played. After Daniel couldn't get the first one right – it was Walk the Line – Emily totally crushed the category and correctly guessed the rest: Legally Blonde, Election, Wild and Sweet Home Alabama.

In fact, so impressive was Emily's Witherspoon knowledge, the actress herself sent a tweet out to congratulate her.

"You gotta be quicker than that, Daniel! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣 Way to go, Emily! 🙋🏻 @Jeopardy this made my day!" she wrote.

It's surprising Reese even has time to sit down and watch Jeopardy! these days. After all, she's got not one, not two, but three star-studded TV series on the way.

What to Read Next

Firstly, the second season of Big Little Lies is currently in the works in time to return in 2019.

Reese has also signed up to reunite with former Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston on a satire of breakfast TV for Apple, having already been guaranteed a two-season commitment for a hefty $240 million price tag.

And lastly, she's partnering with Scandal's Kerry Washington to adapt Celeste Ng's novel Little Fires Everywhere for TV as well.
