Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown was named favourite TV actress at Nickelodeon's 2018 Kids' Choice Awards last night (March 24) and she took the opportunity to prove once again just why we love her so much.
With the date of the awards coinciding with the March for Our Lives protests taking place across the US and around the world, Millie showed her support by wearing a custom-made Calvin Klein jumpsuit that included the names of the 17 people who died at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School after a gunman opened fire at the school last month.
And then, after winning the award, the star turned her acceptance speech into an opportunity to honour the victims of the Parkland school shooting, revealing that she hopes to able to use her voice to "help influence change".
"As we saw a moment ago, the March for Our Lives demonstrations that took place all over the world today have inspired me and impacted us all in one way or another," Millie began.
"I'm so very grateful, and I appreciate the love and support of my fans, and the opportunity that our show, Stranger Things, has created for me. But more than anything, I get to be up here, and I'm privileged to have a voice that can be heard, one that I can use to hopefully make a positive difference and help influence change."
She continued to urge everyone listening to be kind and support one another too.
